Spectacular show !

The sound and light show in Giza is absolutely spectacular! The Pyramids and the Sphinx are illuminated with different colored lights. The Sphinx is the storyteller and you learn about the history of the pyramids, the Pharaos and much more - accompanied with beautiful, dramatic music. It is a good idea to read a little about the history of Egypt before the show.

LOVED The Sound and Light Show.

We paid a bit extra to be seated right up front, which was a Great Idea!
Got some really Awesome Pics.
Bring a light jacket or coat as it could get a bit nippy out there at night.
The Show was Fantastic!, we felt as if we were in the Movies watching the performance Live happening right in front of us.
Great experience, you DO NOT want to miss it!

Excellent show

The show runs for about 45 minutes and is really worthwhile. The pyramids, sphinx and other ancient ruins in the area are all lit up and used for the show with a very good commentary (in English).

Great show

We loved the sound and light show at Karnak Temple. We hadn't seen it first which was a good way round we thought. The darkness added to the mystery and the description was good. The next day we were very pleased to see it in daylight and understood what the carvings etc meant.

Great Show even better Tour Guide

We saw the show tonight Sept. 4th, 2018. We arrived today in Egypt, had a half day tour and wanted to close the night with something nice. The show is very nice, the Pyramids and Sphinx look impressive when lit up and it's a great picture opportunity.

Pyramids a different perception

Pyramids in the day is massive, breathtaking and extravaganza. Pyramids in twilight are just lovely with sunset sky and moon in the background. The sound and light show is a good way of storytelling. A must see event for families with kids. Very educative.

Very nice

Glad I went and checked it out.. Give you a feeling of something amazing that happened long ago with its colossal construction wit these stones. The mystique of ancient humanity in Egypt that was sophisticated way above average civilization that existed in the world at that time. Could of been a little longer with more dramatic lights, but still worth seeing

Beautiful!

The group stayed for several hours to view Abu Simbel  temple during the day. We were the last few stragglers left inside before closing for the light show! The light show was amazing with a gorgeous night sky backdrop! I would recommend the Lake Nassar cruise to view the temple from the water as you venture North towards the Nile.

Most beautiful place in Egypt

My favorite place in Egypt, the show is so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes.. the story , the music and the weather .. no one should miss that .. the temple it self is so great .. and romantic as well. The greatest king of Egypt built himself a legendary temple and another one for his beautiful wife. a romantic declaration of love .. I think it is even more romantic than Verona.. a man who lived his wife and built her a temple to tell the story of his love and appreciation for thousands of years

Well worth the visit.

Stunning experience to see this place at night. The commentary is a bit naff at times, but nonetheless the experience is great.

An excellent sound and light show.

Haunting voices of the pharaohs describing their realm, combined with music and light on a starry, warm night made this a wonderful evenings entertainment, highly recommend it.

Great to see Karnak at Night

We saw the light show at Giza a few years ago, but this one was different in the fact that the first 30 minutes you walked through the temple and stopped at different locations. The last 30 minutes you were seated. Interesting to see Karnak at night lit up. Sound and Light Show went through the history of Karnak and Luxor.

Great Show

If you visit Cairo, you need to visit the Sound and Light show, I enjoyed and my family, the family tickets can cost you 30 euro. We would like to have more shows about the ancient Egyptian.
